I've made two rules, one that sends an email notification when an agent goes offline, and one when an agent goes online (see attached rules.png).
When I watch in the monitor tab and stop the agent, I can see the InternalAgentOffline event occur, and the rule fires. However, when I start the agent, I see the event occur, but no rule fires (see attached events.png).
I've made sure to enable, save, and activate rules. I even restarted the manager service, just to be sure.
Any ideas?
