Copy Run Star Cisco

I am new to NCM and the first thing I am trying to accomplish is writing my running to config to the startup config on all Cisco devices.  I attempted to do this by executing a scrypt simply using copy run star.  This works fine for show commands however I think it may be the confirmation after issuing the command that is hanging me up.  I have to believe this is a fairly common task and was hoping someone could share the simplest way to accomplish this.
