Changing the current 1:1 resource:column layout, to a 1:many resource:column layout?

What are the chances, of the current 1:1 resource:column layout, changing to a 1:many resource:column layout?

I realize this is not specific to SAM, however, since the new UI changes are now visible within the newest SAM beta, I suppose I will ask it here anyway.

Currently, every resource added to a page can only be a 1x1 resource, on that page's grid/layout.

It has bothered me for a long time now, but doing this causes some resources to look horrible, if others are made to look good.

As a simple example, the image below clearly shows that not all resources are equal. Now, depending on what I need to see on my page, I will need to decide if I want to waste space (all that ugly white space), or squish 5 rows into 15 rows.

5 rows should always take 5 rows, not 15 rows.

Look at the "Event Summary" in the second column. It looks like I could fit 6-7 resources, of similar size, in that same space used for 1 resource. That seems to be a great, effective, and efficient way to get a fairly top level view of the most important details and stats, without making a page be, or look like, something it is not.

It would be nice to be able to adjust the height and width of each RESOURCE, independently from the column, or other resources.

This would make pages far better to view, presenting all information in the exact format required to do so efficiently.

Also, on the subject of page/resource/column adjustments, it would be super great if SolarWinds would implement an "Adjust" toggle for resizing columns.

Unfortunately, as it is now, the user permissions are not granular enough to allow an account to add/edit/customize pages OR adjust columns.

We have some users we need to be able to make graph pages, which, by doing so, inherently gives them permission to adjust columns, as well as anything else.

So, simply put, having a toggle button to put the page into a "real time adjust" mode, preventing accidental column/resource adjustment, would be a nice feature to have too.

Again, thank you, SolarWinds, for all the hard work.
