I have 240 locations with DMVPN internet circuits that provide backup for the primary data circuit. The site router has two tunnel interfaces that are showing up, regardless of the Tunnel connectivity back to the head ends. The tunnels are monitored in NPM via ICMP, as the Router Tunnel interface is only reachable over the tunnel from the head ends. So site primary Router Node is up and all interfaces are up in NPM, but the ICMP Nodes to Tun1 or Tun2, or both, can be down. My problem is how to alert only when both ICMP's fail. The Node names are Router = SITExx-RTR01; Tun1= SITExx-RTR01_Tunnel1 ; Tun2 = SITExx-RTR01_Tunnel2.
I have created a Custom Property NETWORK and all have been set to "Tunnel" for the ICMP tunnel Nodes. The Router Node is not a member of the NETWORK=Tunnel.
Is there any way to create a condition to alert if Tun1 and Tun2 are down when the Site name matches. See my attached Ven Diagram. I need the intersection not the join.
