How to show a list of installed programs

I'm running NPM and SAM and I'm also monitoring workstations along with my infrastructure. I would like to know if there's a UDNP or something that will poll my workstations and servers to display a list of installed programs on the node web page. If I could do that then I would like to be able to report on all the installed programs. Thanks.
