In looking at changing network/service account passwords to random passwords, we came across an account that shows up in "Manage Windows Credentials". In there, it is assigned to 0 nodes.
Are these just used for WMI and ICMP defaults? Most (if not all) our windows nodes are using the SNMP and ICMP polling.
If we were to use this account on nodes and the password changed, would we just need to change it in "Manage Windows Credentials" to continue using it? Or would we need to change it on each node once the password changed?
