I am trying to setup my first scheduled job to unmanage some Oracle databases for several hours every night. I am getting this error:
"Unmanage Oracle Databases.job" (Unmanage Oracle Databases.cmd) 3/18/2013 11:00:00 PM ** ERROR **
Unable to start task.
The specific error is:
0x80070005: Access is denied.
Try using the Task page Browse button to locate the application.
I originally created the task (.cmd file) while logged in to the SW Unmanage Task Editor using my Windows user id. But, I quickly realized that it should be under a generic user id. So, I logged out/in with the generic id and re-created the task & saved the .cmd file with the same name. (I was still logged in to the server with my personal id.) [The instructions on the home task editor page state "Type the name and password of the user who is associated with this task. If you have used a Windows account to connect to Orion server when the task was created, you should use the same user name and password when you create the schedule."] I then changed the scheduled job's 'Run as' to use the generic id. What else am I missing? Do I just delete everything and start over? What access does my generic id need?
Thanks for your help!
p.s. I hope I posted this in the right forum. I couldn't find one for this utility and it looks like others have put their questions in multiple places. And, why can't I paste a picture into this editor? I can when I create an idea.
