Hi everyone.
Recently, my Orion installation encountered problem. When I go to the site, it displays error:
There was an error communicating with the Orion server
There was no endpoint listening at net.tcp://orion:17777/orion/core/businesslayer that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.
- Confirm that the SolarWinds Information Service is running.
- On your local SolarWinds server, click Start > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Right-click SolarWinds Information Service V3, and then click Start.
- Confirm that the SolarWinds Orion Module Engine service is running.
- On your local SolarWinds server, click Start > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Right-click SolarWinds Orion Module Engine, and then click Start.
- Examine the specific details of the error for environmental hints to help resolve your issue.
- Refresh the web console browser.
- If still unresolved, click the troubleshooting help links below.
- After completing any changes, repeat the same task that generated this error.
I tried to repair it with Configuration Wizard, but than I got error:
Website configuration failed:
• Connection to SolarWinds® Information Service did not succeed.
Last error: The socket connection was aborted. This could be caused by an error processing your message or a receive timeout being exceeded by the remote host, or an underlying network resource issue. Local socket timeout was '00:01:00'.
Database and all pollers work fine.Data is collecting, database is accessible. It looks like the only problem is in site.
I also try to make new site by renaming C:\Inetpub\Solarwind folder and renaming Solarwinds website in IIS. Configuration Wizard finished with same error as above.
I tried to get help from Solarwinds support but they refuse it cause my license expired.
Orion is installed on Win 2012R2, database is on other server, also Win 2012R2.
Do anyone have any idea what can i do to fix this?
