SW npm 10.6 upgrade to 10.7 ??

Good day to all in the thwack community, im a SW total newbie and i dont know THWACK :s ....

and i apologize in advance for any question that may seem to dumm..

i currently have SW npm 10.6 on a virtual winserver2008... i wish to upgrade to 10.7 but would like to know the steps... i already took a snapshot of my current settings just in case something goes wrong...

my nmp is prompting me to update the NMP 10.7, NTA 4.0.2 and SAM 6.1.1

do i need to unninstall first? or does it work like any update??
