I'm excited to have a spot on thwack to discuss all things Cloud. I mean there's Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Compute Engine (GCE), Microsoft Azure, SoftLayer, and many more. And that's only scratching the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) surface. Anything as a Service (XaaS) seems to be a popular construct; but is it hype or hope? Also, SaaS are making strong plays into traditional services provided by IT (Office 365 with Exchange and Lync for Business). It's almost a situation of your MVPs versus your vendor's MVPs. What a wonderful time to be in IT and working with technology!
I hope that you will use this forum to ask questions about Cloud services and discuss best practices in the Cloud, any Cloud - hybrid, public, or private or any Cloud services - SaaS, PaaS, etc. Look forward to the discussions and conversations.
