What was life like before using SolarWinds? (Include what you were using and why you decided it was time for a change).
It was a mess before using Solarwinds. We have a lot of monitoring tools (Zenoss, WUG, Nagios, etc..) setup from our different regional offices. And our team is really challenged in managing and using these tools in providing global infrastructure related support. With this, the plan to use one tool and consolidate the others came up and we choose Solarwinds.

Did you consider other options, and why did you choose SolarWinds?
We choose Solarwinds because the products/modules it provides complements our tool consolidation requirements and it provides more value than what we expect compare to other tools.
How has life been since you've rolled out SolarWinds in your environment?
With Solarwinds in placed, we now have an eye to our global infrastructure environment and monitoring is now fun!
